PAINTS AND FINISHES

We are still some way off interior decoration, but when we reach that happy moment we will be using Auro organic paints on our walls and ceilings.

The manufacture, application and disposal of synthetic paints is replete with health and environmental costs. This is true of water-based paints as well as VOC-intensive oil-based paints, as their complex cocktail of acrylic resins, dilutants and preservatives includes many toxic ingredients.

The alternative is to use paints made from natural materials which do not leave a trail of toxic waste behind them and do not give you a headache while you are applying them.

If you have anything left over once you have finished the job, Auro paints can be dried out and added to your general garden compost, thus completing the sustainable cycle of the paint.
