October saw the beginning of some serious groundworks. Unfortunately, however, we hit our first serious delay all too soon.

Here George Archbutt, Steve's nephew, begins work taking down the party wall. As this is a retaining wall next to a terrace, a lot of work had to go in to propping everything up while the wall of the house was built.
